Section 118 of the Himachal Pradesh Tenancy and Land Reforms Act, 1972 regulates the transfer of land to non-agriculturists. It ensures that agricultural land in Himachal Pradesh is protected and can only be purchased by eligible individuals or with prior government approval.

Who Needs Section 118 Permission?

Permission is granted by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the respective district.
